Sports Field and Ball Diamonds
The sports field with two baseball diamonds is used for many different activities. Unorganized or "pickup" games do not require field bookings. Refer to booking information and sports field regulations.

Volleyball
The Parksville Community Park features several large sand beach volleyball courts. During the summer, courts are home to youth and adult volleyball leagues, camps and tournaments. The courts are also available for casual use; users supply their own equipment.

Lacrosse Box
An outdoor box perfect for lacrosse games or street hockey is located near the entrance to the park. The box is also used for pickleball play.

Skate Park
Parksville's only skate park features half pipes, boxes, rails, and ramps for all skill levels. The park is used primarily for skateboarding and BMX biking and the use of helmets is recommended. Additional regulations are posted at the skate park and users are asked to follow "skate park etiquette".

Sports Courts
There are two sports courts in the Parksville Community Park. One court accommodates four dedicated pickleball courts, and the other is lined for tennis and temporary use pickleball. When people are waiting to play, court time is limited to one set or a maximum of sixty minutes. Activities other than tennis or pickleball are not permitted on the courts.

Horseshoe Pits
We maintain eight horseshoe pits located near the picnic shelter in the Parksville Community Park. Users supply their own horseshoes.

Kite Field
The kite field is an open space near the beach in the Parksville Community Park. When not busy with major events, you'll find people flying kites, playing Frisbee or soccer, or simply enjoying the space.
